I am working with a youth group and I am having a hard time understanding how to connect. These kids are great and I really enjoy working with them. Where the connection problem comes in is when we try to get them involved in activities nothing is good enough. I don't know how nothing can be fun or worth wile doing. It seems like anything we suggest doing boring. I want these kids to see that you can have fun doing anything as long as you choose to have fun. We have many choices in life and you cannot and will not find contentment in life unless you choose to see life with a positive attitude. See I know what I want my kids to see but I am not understanding how to relay that message to them.
Well, that sums it up!

good to see you around here. trust me, I know what you mean. I mean, when my son was younger, he would have fun doing anything and now that he's a teen, it's all changed! hang in there, I'm told it gets better! :)
